JOE CRESPO - BASS
JOE CRESPO - BASS

It should be noted that Joe is writing this himself. Some would say that Joe writes about himself in the third person because he wants it to appear that Hello Nurse is so huge that it has a team of writers working around the clock on their website, but that wouldn't be the truth. The truth is that Joe always speaks of Joe in the third person. It's an annoyance that makes the people who meet Joe instantly hate him. They may not know it, but Joe has a lot of love in his heart and deep down he's a good person. Joe is looking forward to his future "Behind the Music." Though not yet famous, nor has he done anything worth filling an hour of television - not even an hour of basic cable - he is determined to be a whining princess with a train of handlers at his beck and call, he's actively pursuing a crippling drug habit, he's developing the ability to blow outrageous sums on the outlandish and pointless and he's already retained an attorney for the inevitable court battle that will ensue over the to-be-earned money siphoned off by his future shady business manager. Joe is practicing in the mirror for the humbling moments of his "Behind the Music" when it focuses on his post-stardom squalor by repeating over and over, "I've never been happier in my whole life. At last I'm a complete person." Joe's hobbies include mercilessly guarding his spot in line at the movies, talking to himself in public and belittling others for shortcomings he unwittingly shares with them. Joe's rig consists of a '66 Fender Jazz Bass, a '72 Fender Precision Bass, a circa '69 Fender Musicmaster Bass, an Ampeg B-15R (re-issue of the Motown classic) amp for recording and an indestructible Hartke bass head with a '68 Fender Bassman cabinet for dragging around to live shows. Joe sorely misses his hernia-inducing 1973 Ampeg SVT which he recently pawned for drug money.
