In tragic news, four musicians in the band Hello Nurse were killed Saturday by a pack of murderous zombies outside their practice space in Gowanus, Brooklyn. According to local sources, New York Department of Sanitation workers unloaded a truckload of dead bodies in the Gowanus Canal by the dark of night in an attempt to fine the South Brooklyn Casket Company for illegal dumping.
Within minutes of touching the glowing toxic water, the bodies rose from the dead and began devouring the flesh of any live humans they could catch. Victims of the bites became dead and then undead themselves, joining the pack of ravenous brain-eaters. Hello Nurse were among those bitten by the undead.
Eventually the zombies were displaced by rising rent and have since moved further south toward Coney Island, where the authorities are having trouble distinguishing between those living and zombified.
Despite the pale skin, dripping sores, and insatiable hunger for human guts, the show must go on. Hello Nurse are scheduled to perform at The Tank on Saturday, October 28 at 11 PM. Any zombies not gunned down by the NYPD Zombie Task Force will likely be in attendance. Of course, all others in attendance are encouraged to dress like zombies as well.... unless of course they dress like hot nurses instead.
